HERMES
God of Messengers
OVERVIEW
Swift Strikes
Hermes favors light frames and follows a very specific strategy. Early game, his fleet focuses on building Talaria to quickly rush your gatherers and miners. The goal is to eliminate or cripple your resource production.
His fleet is also composed of Petasos. These will engage your units from long range using Swiftstrike Missiles and try to hit-and-run down the center. Early on this serves as a distraction, but once the enemy workers are gone, Hermes will produce them in large numbers to finish his opponent off.
Finally, he has a handful of healers known as Caduceus. These are quick moving and will attempt to replenish units damaged in a skirmish, but can't do much to keep units alive in active combat.

MAP
Glittering Path
This map has resources divided firmly into north and south lanes. Hermes will try to exploit this by attacking all of the gatherers on one side at a time.
You'll have the most success if you can keep your miners and gatherers in the same general location and protect them with your fleet.
PATHS TO VICTORY
Defend Your Workers
Workers should know when it's best to run away from a threat.
If your combat units aren't immediately engaging in combat, make sure they're protecting workers.
Improve Your Accuracy
Identify that Hermes is fast moving so your units can change dynamically.
