DIONYSUS
God of Revelry
OVERVIEW
Vinyard Victory
Dionysus employs a very greedy, economic focused opening where he makes a very large number of workers to gather resources. This leaves him open to an early rush.
Over time, he'll adjust his allocation of units to shift to combat units, identifying when the map is nearly mined out and stopping production of them entirely.
He builds a slow but powerful fleet of assault ships, mainly composed of the highly defensive Centaurs and deadly-but-fragile Satyrs. These units are dynamic, adjusting based on your fleet's composition.
His highly specialized units will try to keep you from flanking. A percentage of Centaurs are armed with Energy Web, and the Maenad uses a gravitational rift to gather and slow your forces.
Dionysus has the Nymph which spreads the Revelry buff. While he'll try to focus healing on the most damaged, its focus is split between that and benefiting the most allies. As a result, his fleet often lacks a powerful healer to mitigate damage on single units.

PATHS TO VICTORY
Path of War
Add code to recognize when your opponent is being greedy early on, and rush their worker units while they are undefended.
Hint: Nothing says you need to spend all your money on the opening frame. What if you react on the 2nd, 3rd, or 10th frame and build units based on the enemy composition?
Path of Glory
You can attempt to beat Dionysus at his own game. This likely requires a very efficient resource gathering system.
Note that you can match his production on even terms, with the bonus for Tier 2 you should quickly be able to overwhelm his fleet.
You'll need to still have a reasonable strategy for combat and favor a heavy fleet.
Components and Builds
Fast units can be used to flank around his fleet and deal damage to workers or the base directly.
High damage and long range weapons are most effective against his big, slow ships.
Consider effects which reduce or ignore block:
AresMod adds block penetration
CerberusMod deals fire damage which ignores block.
